Anniversary dinner - which restaurant would you choose?

We are going to Disneyland this summer for our 10th anniversary and I'm trying to pick a nice place to have dinner. We've been to the Blue Bayou and are looking to try something different. I think we've only done counter service and character meals at DCA, so I'm not familiar with the sit-down restaurants there. Looking for ideas in either park. We will also have our 6-year-old with us.

Thanks!

When I first saw the title I was going to suggest Blue Bayou (celebrated our 5th Anniversary there last year!) Have you considered Napa Rose or Carthay Circle?

Napa Rose is our preference.
DH has had his birthday celebration there 3 years in a row

Napa Rose at the Grand is the the nicest restaurant on property for an adult date night meal in my opinion. Steakhouse 55 at Disneyland Hotel comes in second. Both are a bit nicer atmosphere but still kid friendly.

If you wanna remain on the go in the parks...Carthay Circle in DCA is a great option.

Except for Blue Bayu for the atmosphere...pretty much everything else falls into the run of the mill theme park food category and not necessarily the "nice" category for what you are looking for.

If it was adults only, I would definitely say Napa Rose but since your 6 year old will be with you my vote is for Carthay Circle. If you time it right you can let your server know you would like to step out onto the balcony and watch the parade. The CMs know that people stand up there and watch and they interact with anyone up there. Take your drinks out there and enjoy!

My vote would be for Carthay Circle. It's absolutely gorgeous, and the food is very good. Get there early and enjoy a drink in the lounge downstairs before your reservation, and take in the atmosphere! It really does feel like you've been transported back to a very glamorous version of the 1930's in there.

I'm going to throw my vote in for Carthay Circle. We celebrated my mom's 60th there and everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. My son was 9 at the time and had no trouble finding options on that menu. The restaurant is gorgeous, the service was fantastic and the food was very yummy!

As with others I'd vote for Steakhouse55 or Cartha Circle if dinning with kids. I think you'll have the best luck menuwise there. I can't yet recommend Napa Rose just cause we haven't eaten there yet, but I am very much looking forward to it at some point

We've been to both Blue Bayou and Steakhouse 55 with DD5. We will be at DL to celebrate our anniversary next month and we're planning to go to Carthay Circle as part of a WOC Dining package for our anniversary dinner. We are hoping DD5 will be able to stay up for WOC (we will be up super early to do the Neverland 5K and plan to nap but who knows if that will happen - DD officially stopped napping when she turned 3). We love BB but we've been there twice and wanted to do something different. Steakhouse 55 was just OK for us - I think I had read too many reviews about how amazing it was so we were disappointed. I have no expectations for Carthay Circle other than it will be something new for us plus we get a WOC FP ticket for a good viewing section (if we get there early) too.

Carthay Circle or Catal in DTD. We've been to Carthay a few times with DD. We decided to try Catal on our last visit. It was really good and a nice change. It's often overlooked.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Sounds like Carthay Circle is a popular option. I like the idea of viewing the parade from there too!
