My DH and I will be celebrating our 13th anniversary while at WDW this year and we would like to go to a nice, but not overly expensive (like V&A) restaurant. My husband is not a big seafood fan...the only seafood he eats is shrimp!! I was thinking about Yachtmen's as we went there on our honeymoon, but was wondering if any of you had suggestions...hopefully we will be able to this with just the two of us (going to ask the in-laws who will be with us to take the kids to dinner while we have our dinner).

Thank you for any suggestions you have!!!

Myself I'd pick California Grill w/fireworks seating time. They have excellent food and you can watch wishes right from your table with music and all. You can request window table (not guaranteed) or go outside and watch. Our trip wouldn't be complete without this. What better way to celebrate anniversary!!! :love2:

Narcoossee' s at the GF has excellent food to and has seating to watch fireworks! :Pinkbounc

Flying Fish on the Boardwalk also has great seafood another option.

We had the same situation last year(a night out for our anniversary) and chose Yachtsman Steakhouse. I was so glad that we did as we had an amzaing meal there. It was so good we are eating there again on our 10th anniversary this year. :goodvibes

I was throwing around the idea of California Grill, but the food looks a bit too funky for me, and its very hard not to go back to YSH. ;)

Thank you for your replies!! Sorry that it took me so long to thank you, I forgot I post this thread!! :rotfl:

Yachtsman is usually very good, we also love Narcoossee's and California Grill. Shula's is one of our favorites but it's more expensive.

There are so many great resturants at WDW in the parks and at the resorts. Why not look at the menues for the resturants you are interested in and make your choice from that..
We will celebrate our 31 anniversary June 14, my husband is a very picky eater- no seafood, alergic to mushrooms and really likes more plain food.
We chose LeCellier- great food, romantic atmosphere and the price is good for us. We had originally picked CRT but once he looked at the menue there was not really a good choice there for him. If we could just go up and have desert we would book CRT for something really special to end the evening in the park.

Enjoy your anniversary and hope you have many more.

Well, my in-laws cancelled their trip with us to WDW, so it will be us and our three DD's. We have just decided to do dinner at Kona Cafe....oh well, at least we will be at WDW :cool1: !!! We wanted to do LeCellier, but we will have to see....I need to find out what they have on the menu for children. Does anyone know??

Thanks!!

Are you staying at the poly? Have you considered having your DDs go to the Neverland club? The menues are at http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm
Are you using the dining plan? You might be able to attempt to take all of you to California Grill, I haven't been there but maybe the girls would enjoy looking out at the castle, when they get bored with dinner (I'm assuming they're like my DDs and WILL get bored with dinner.)
