We are celebrating our 10 year Anniversary in June while at WDW. Originally we were going to go to CRT first night there for our Anniversary and then go to CRT for lunch on my b-day during that week. But now with price increase and having to use 2 TS credits per person I don't want to go twice. My kids will be 9 & 6 when we go and we decided to go there for lunch so DD can see Cinderella.

Now, where should we have dinner for Anniversary 1st night? Our kids will be with us :) We don't have a problem spending 2 TS credits per person (just don't want to do that 2x for CRT)

Any suggestions?

I am going to Le Cellier for my 14 th anniversary (and hopefully get an illuminations cruise too) other great suggestion is V&A (you might even try to get the chef's table) Congrats on your up coming anniversary.

Thank you and Congrats to your upcoming Anniversary too :goodvibes

V&A is out of question (but excellent suggestion) because our kids will be dining with us.
Le Cellier is good, will have to consider it.

Anyone else?

How about California Grill? We always enjoy it and the menu has so many choices on it. The view is incredible. On our next trip we are celebrating our 27th anniversary there on the actual date with our family and then having dinner for just us at V&A a few nights later. Oops, that reminds me, I haven't made the V&A reservation yet!

My dh and I celebrated our 25th with our daughter last year at Ohana's at the POLY. It was great! If you go, make a reservation for 7:45-8:00 and request a window table. Be sure to let them know it's your anniversary. Then just wait til they turn the lights off and look over to the MK. The fireworks from that vantage point are amazing!!! Happy Anniversary! Deb

We're doing Citrico's for our 10 year anniversary in May - kids are staying at the Neverland Club :goodvibes

We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at California Grill this past May. It was our 1st time there & we loved it! Service was great, food was delicious & the view of the MK during the sunset & the fireworks was perfect. There were many families there with children, so I don't think it would be a problem to bring yours along. :) Congratulations on your anniversary!! :teeth:

Was going to recommend Hoop-Dee-Doo. A great show as well as a yummy dinner, and they'd even make a little fuss over your anniversary. But that is 2 credits per person, too.

So I'm going with San Angel Inn for mexican or Le Cellier for beef. The Crystal Palace is lovely (and has characters) but is kinda low on the romance factor.

:flower:

We are going to Le Cellier for our 8th anniversary of the day we started dating ( yes we still celebrate that!) ( 4 years married) Dh and have always celebrated that little day as well for if that didnt happen, we wouldnt have gotten married. :love2:

We let the CM know when we booked the ADR it was our anniversary and got all the info on having a special cake at dinner. However after looking at the menu I dont know if we will have room for dessert!

I would suggest Narcoossee's. The food was great, and it's a nice romantic setting on the water. If you time it right, you can see the fireworks from there, and they pipe in the music.

I've heard some complaints recently about the service, but then again, I've heard the same thing about most restaurants. Wherever you decide to eat, enjoy! And Happy Anniversary!

We ate at Narcoossee's for our first anniversary and will be eating there again for our 2nd anniversary. Needless to say, it was wonderful!!! We had excellent service.

We have also had my last two birthday dinners at California Grill and it was fabulous! Kevin was our server and he was the BEST server I have EVER had. The food was excellent!

Wherever you decide to eat, let them know it is your anniversary when you make your ADR's. We received extra special treatment at both of the above-mentioned restaurants for our special days.

Oh, and by the way...CONGRATULATIONS on your anniversary!!!

at crt there is an anniversary package where they decorate the table & you get crt glass mugs. the dinner shows also make a big deal over anniversaries, my parents were called up on stage at the luau. maybe look into a kids club for your children & go to victoria & alberts at the gf just the 2 of you, its a great place for special occasions, 9 course meal, roses for women, fancy, etc.

I would personally recommend Artist Point or Yachtsman. Both have terrific food, and the have atmosphere to spare. We'll be dining at both on our upcoming 1st anniversary trip.

We had a Lovely evening at Narcoossees in Aug. That would be a very romantic place for an anniversery dinner & the view of Wishes from the deck is spectacular (I like it better than the CG view, myself)

DH & I particularly like California Grill - we had a wonderful Birthday Celebration there for my 40th. We also love Artist Point.

Any of those 3 would be fine with children & romantic for you guys, esp. CG & Narcoossees having the Wishes view.

Congrats on your upcoming Anniversery!

If you want to have a great (but $$) meal without the kids, I would recommend Shula's Steakhouse in the Dolphin. They have a service where they will watch your kids for free for 2 hours (I think you book this when you book the meal) while you eat. We went for our 10th and it was the best meal we had all week. It is a nationwide "top 10" steakhouse. We thought the romance factor was fine, we were practically by ourselves in our little section of the restaurant. Shula's is not on the dining plan though so you'll have to pay out of pocket. But it is an experience!

Great suggestions so far. There are so many choices. We have not yet been to CG so I'm considering that (DH is letting me do all the planning :earsgirl: ) . We already have ressies for HDDR. We plan on going to 'Ohana, Le Cellier, San Angel Inn, Lunch at CRT (my B-day :wizard: ). Really wanted to have dinner at CRT but think going twice in one trip is just too much $$$/16 TS credits for our family.

Anyone else have ideas?
