My friends are joining us on our trip to WDW. They have never been. The two of them will be going out alone one night to celebrate their anniversary. They don't want to hassle with complicated transportation or a taxi from BC. Where would you recommend for a relatively quiet dinner for two?

Bluezoo, Il Mulino, Shulas or Kimonos (the last, before 9:30 when the karaoke starts)

We enjoyed the Flying Fish for an anniversary dinner one year. Since it is at the Boardwalk, it is an easy walk.

Thanks, Nala. I was just looking up Bluezoo as an option for them! Do you know if the Swan & Dolphin are dressed up for the holidays?

Not in the restaurants. The Dolphin generally has a large tree and a train set in the lobby.

I like Flying Fish, but I would not consider it quiet. Anything can happen though. I was at bluezoo once when a large group allowed a bunch of kids to push a baby in a stroller around the restaurant.

I would recommend Flying Fish at the Boardwalk or Bluezoo at The Dolphin. You could walk or take the boat.

Another vote for Flying Fish!

My coworker loved his "grownups" meal at the Yachtsman, but I have not been personally....

I enjoy Flying Fish but it's not in the same league as bluezoo. I dined at both on back to back nights last week and bluezoo is a much better choice for a special dinner. Every time I've eaten here I swear the food is better than the last time.

I also enjoy Il Mulino. It's a little noisier than bluezoo due to the wood floors but it's got excellent food.

Bluezoo is AMAZING. My gosh, it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten (and I'm no slouch to fine dining).

I'd highly recommend Bluezoo. Shulas is another good option, if they are more "meat and potatoes" type people.

Thanks for all the ideas! Interesting how many of the suggestions are at Swan & Dolphin. I wish I had time to try bluezoo on our trip, but we are going to the Queen Victoria Room at V&A which will be our one special evening out.
Other than V&A I am thinking of doing fewer full service meals than usual this trip. There are so many quick foods at Epcot I want to try so we may snack more.

We ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse last summer and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed it more than California Grill and Narcossee.
