Anniversary celebration question

I'm still kinda new to these boards, if this is posted in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance.

I was reading where on a child's birthday they can have a congratulations call made from Mickey or another character. I had also heard somewhere, that you can have a similar thing for your anniversary, where a character would leave a message on your voice mail at the resort you are staying at. Not sure if this is true, so that's why I am asking. My wife(who does not read these boards) would be absolutely delighted if there was a happy anniversary message on our phone left by Mickey or one of his friends. Anyone know if this can be done, and how I would go about making if happen?

On a related note, we spent out honeymoon at WDW, and when we arrived there was a card from Mickey and Minnie, it included an autographed picture. That picture is framed on our living room wall.

There are several things you can do to 'enhance' an anniversary celebration:

Be sure to pick up an "ANNIVERSARY" button at any park or DTD Guest Relations. Wear them proudly each day of your visit (or just one if you'd rather). You will have many CMs, and sometimes other guests, that will wish you Happy Anniversary, as well as some CMs will ask if you got your phone call. They will dial a number and hand you (or your wife) the phone where you will hear a special greeting.

You should mention your anniversary celebration on every ADR you make for the trip, including you room reservation. If you didn't, call back and have it added, making a special request that you would like a surprise phone call for your wife.

There are also special 'treats' you can buy as a surprise - example a pop-up happy birthday (may have one for anniversaries too) that will be placed on your table at TS places. Ours cost $5 and was a big surprise for my son at Chef Mickey's.

Any CM should be able to assist you in adding small touches that will certainly put a smile on the face of your 'bride' of many years! Just don't be shy about telling everyone how special she is and how VERY special you would like the trip to be - there may be many surprises in store. After all, WDW is know for being 'magical.'

PS: I love the fact that you framed your M&M autographed picture. It is that sort of thing that kindles the romance and keeps us young - at least young at heart! DH and I are in our 60's and WDW is still our favorite vacation destination.

We strolled into the American Adventure building at EPCOT where a castmember noticed our anniversary buttons that we received at check-in at POR. He brought us out to the lobby where he said we had a phone call. It was Mickey and Minnie wishing us a happy anniversary. The castmember then brought us an award that he wrote our names and info on and brought us next door to the counter service restaurant for warm apple turnovers. Mmm!

For my and DH's next anniversary I happened to see a cake on the cake thread that he would just love. I plan to see about ordering one for our anniversary.
