Anniversary Cake

Who here ordered a reproduction of your top layer?

Where did you order through?

I remember seeing Lurkyloo's gorgeous top tier at her dessert party in the UK, but I don't think we'll be able to do a dessert party.

The easiest way to do it is to go through the Grand Floridian Bakery (by calling Private Dining: 407-824-2474) since they can pull your BEO and look up exactly how to replicate your cake. You generally have to be staying or dining there because there is no storefront you can walk up to for the bakery. However, a couple people have been able to get them to deliver to Gasparilla Grill or even the front desk for pick-up.

My DH has ordered two cakes for me, one for our anniversary and one for mothers day, by calling the Boardwalk Bakery and placing an order for pickup.


This one was not a replica of our top layer but a clock because the first wedding anniversary gift is a clock

Hey Lulu! Your wedding was so beautiful, I have followed along but haven't had much time to post with 2 little ones under foot! They were very yummy, the same flavor as our top layer.

I just looked it up and you are right! 1 year is paper.... hmmmmm, wonder what DH looked at. I guess it's the thought that counts! Now should I tell him he was wrong lol?
