We will be spending our 20th anniversary at disney this May. We will arrive on May 23-31. Our anniversary is on the 27th. Anyone got any ideas to fill most of the day? We are renewing our vows that morning at Coco beach and catching the fireworks cruise that night. I need some ideas for time in between. Our kids will be with us.:goodvibes

You don't say how old your kids are, but you could spend the day at the Magic Kingdom doing lunch at Cindy's and then pick up the cruse.

Get a pair of the Happy Anniversary buttons and wear them (should be available at any resort front desk/guest relations. If eating always say you are celebrating your Anniversary and some places give you a complimentary dessert. When we had dinner at CRT we got a great pair of wine/champagne glasses engraved with a pic of the castle and with "Happy Anniversary" on them and the fairy godmother presented them to us.

Also, we got a pic of Minney and Mickey signed and a Mylar balloon with "Happy Anniversary" on it tied to our TT door handle one morning close to our "declared Anniversary Date".

In other words play it for all it's worth ... same for birthdays.

Anytime we go we are always celebrating maybe sometimes early or sometimes late, but hey that's our gift to each other is a Disney vacation.

LarryJ gave great advice about always be celebrating something...for the upcoming Memorial Weekend trip I'll remind them it's my oldest son's birthday. Prior year's birthdays at the Fort we've been given balloons, signed Disney Pooh & Friends pictures, and well-wishes, etc. Anyway, have a great anniversary trip.

Thanks for all your advice, my kids are 18,15,&5yrs. They are included in everything. We will be there from sat.-sun. We are performing at downtown disney:dance3:on tues. We are renewing our vows at the beach wed. morning then fireworks cruise wed. night. I don't feel we should use park ticket for half a day.

thanks,

The Segway tour is fun. I don't believe the 5 YO can do this but he/she can do a pony ride the older ones can't do.

Us too (our 20th anni)! Our's is June 10th and we arrive on the 13th. we are actually leaving our home on the 10th (our anni). Watching this one close!

Congrats on your upcoming anniversary.

Last year we went to the Castle for dinner. That was a lot of fun and they treated us like royalty. We had a great table right in the center by the windows. It was beautiful. The food was good too.

There are so many special things that you can do. You could take one of the many neat tours they offer. We did the Behind the Steams tour year before last. That was great. We did Backstage Safari last year and that was cool too.

I am working on what we will do this year. We always celebrate our anniversary at Disney but this year we will be there on our actual anniversary instead of several weeks afterward. This year is 15 years. I want to try and do something really special.

Have fun whatever you do!

Congrats and happy 20th!!
Last year went to Disney for our anniversary too, but this year I decided to go to Bradenton for our 18th year anniversary on May 31st and Disney for my birthday. Thought I'd switch it up a bit this year since you can get in free for your birthday. ;)
My suggestion is a carriage ride, just the two of you at one of the resorts like the Fort. For family fun, rent a pontoon boat and cruise around the lake. Disneyquest is also alot of fun at Downtown Disney and they have a new hot air balloon ride down at DD that could be cool too.

Have a magical time!
