Can you still meet them together? Last time we met them was in ‘15 at Magic Kingdom (tho I know they are at Epcot now) and we were able to get a photo with both of them in the same shot.

Oh that’s disappointing!
I think it is much nicer actually as you get twice the time to interact: each one meets separately and spends a good amount of time with the kids, but you only have to wait in line once

We wanted to do a pregnancy announcement with them about our daughter being a big sister 😩 and had remember we met them together a while back. Back to the drawing board lol

I would ask the character attendant when u walk in the room if they can make an exception and explain the announcement. They are like 10 feet away from each other so they might not mind.

I'm with @MomOTwins : It never hurts to ask. They might say no, but you might get exactly what you want.
I've seen the characters initiate special photo ops. Back in 2012 at DLR, you first met Periwinkle, Tinker Bell's sister, and then Tink in two different photo stops in Pixie Hollow. We thought it was finally our turn to meet Periwinkle as the family in front of us moved on to Tink, but Periwinkle asked us to wait a minute. She jumped over to Tink and cried, "Sister pic!" The family did in fact have two girls, and they got to pose back to back while Tink and Periwinkle posed wings to wings--and then the wings lit up in familial recognition just like they do in their movie! It wasn't even our moment, and it still felt special and magical.
I think there are enough odds they'll help you out that you should ask.

That’s not a bad idea. I always feel weird asking for something special and not out of the norm lol. Like I don’t want to inconvenience anyone haha.

Aw what a cute story! That’s nice you felt the magic for the other people! I’d be concerned others would get mad I stopped the line lol.

Just ask, it's Disney! You just might have a magical moment!!

Well, went today. Made the sign and ended up asking when we walked in. They said no and we’re pretty adamant and rude about it. I know it’s not typical but man, did not expect the harshness!
