Can anyone give me an estimate on when the return passes are running out? We're AP holders and are a little lazy getting to the parks early. We usually aim to be there 1/2 hr before opening, but it doesn't always happen. Or, we decide to do breakfast at jazz kitchen express and don't get in the park right away. Do I have a shot to still get a pass without changing our lazy ways? I had written off taking ds4 to see them until this new policy. We'll be there Sunday, the 28th.

Thanks for any help!

Bump! Everyone must be sick of these questions and not bothering to read! But, I haven't seen this particular question on any of those threads!

A CM on Thursday said something to the effect of, the passes are gone within 90 mins. 90 mins after regular opening and 30 mins after opening to all guests on a MM. The line itself took us around 35 mins to get the pass. I would think you need to be in line within one hour of the earliest park opening to get a pass.

So does this mean that on days with MM, regular guests (without MM) have virtually no hope of getting a ticket?

Okay, so can't be lazy! Thanks!

I went last Sunday, and got a pass quickly (it was a 8:40 - 9 return.) We got in line around 8:50 and had to wait about 15 minutes to see the princesses. When we walked out they were still giving out the passes. So I would get there as early as possible, but within the first hour you should be ok. I dont know about MM days though.

Do you have to have your tickets and rest of your party with you to get the return pass?

I would think that if you were queued and ready at the entrance when the park opened to all guests, you could book it to the line by the Village Haus and get a ticket at the end. You would have to make it a priority to go straight there.

At rope drop you need to head for the hub and the CM holding the sign. Just prior to rope drop they will escort the line to meet and greet area to get the pass.

So, if I don't make rope drop, I go to where the meet n greet is for the line?

But the people with early entry would line up and wait that hour for them anyways, so why not just start at opening?

That's how I see it too. It's not a fast pass, more like a virtual placeholder. If MM guests would normally be allowed to wait for that whole hour in the line, might as well give them a return time during MM. Like you said, they'd just wait the whole hour and still be ahead of non-MM guests anyway.

We have just booked the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for 10.20 (assume it's a 10am park opening) and the lady said to get the passes first. How far in advance is the return time? Would it be within 1 1/2 hrs as that's how long we'll be in the boutique for?

If they are not handing them out for a time late enough tell them you want a later time. They will likely have you stand aside until the time you need is available. People do this all the time for Racers FP.
