We will be visiting the Magic Kingdom in the middle of September when crowd levels are predicted to be about a 2 or a 3. We will be there for rope drop and plan to head straight to Anna and Elsa. Any predictions on how long the wait might be if we head straight there? I'd rather use my FPs for other attractions. If this isn't a good plan, I'd welcome your feedback. Thanks!

By then the Anna else meet and greet should be at Epcot by the frozen ride, although I could be wrong. It will probably still be long. At MK the lines at rope drop started out at about 30-40 minutes if you weren't at the front of the pack. I would still try rope drop if you want to use FP elsewhere (like on a frozen ride).

Oh...that makes sense! I didn't even think about that (the new ride/location).

Thank you!

I would imagine the A&E line wait time to jump back up again for a while when it is moved back to Epcot.
It's not being moved to Epcot. They will be meeting at both locations. If anything, I'd expect a drop in times due to more availability. But I think since they both likely to exhaust FP availability anyway, I'd expect not a huge decrease. But wouldn't expect a jump.

Thanks! I removed my post so as not to confuse anyone!

i don't think they will stay at magic kingdom when the Epcot place opens..i don't know why the other poster is so sure they know

I've heard the opposite, but nothing from an official source I believe... Where did you hear they'll be at both?

Reports are the opposite. They will move to Epcot and Aurora and Snow White will return to Princess Fairy Tale Hall.

This makes the most sense to me. I wish Aurora & Snow White would join Princess Fairy Tale Hall again because I forgot where they were moved to and missed my chance to see them again.

I heard the same...that they are being moved to Epcot and will be replaced in MK.

MK CMs have been told the sisters are moving to Epcot when the M&G opens, plans are for Snow White and Aurora to move back to FTH (where they belong).

It makes NO sense to leave them in the MK. Why would they even build this ride (upsetting many) and a full M&G in Epcot ........ because when they were there before and it was the only way to meet them - suddenly Epcot had all these families visit that never did before. Epcot needs specific draws to get more people there, spreading the crowds. Keeping them at MK is counterproductive. You will be able to see them in the MK parade and new show.

I had heard there'd be some overlap initially. They're the most popular M&G right now and other characters meet in more than one park. But possible they move same day. But I still expect (particularly with FP booking Windows and with opening dates subject to change, there'd be a period where they're in both parks. But we'll find out soon and see if they close the MK FP option at some date.

In that case...I would expect an uptick in wait times with A&E moving to Epcot if they are not also in MK. The "newness" of them being in Epcot coupled with the new ride being right there will probably make standby jump back up again for a while.

The wait times at MK for the sisters is not significantly longer than the wait times for Cinderella and Rapunzel. They are about even, on avg. There are even a few times where C&R have a longer line than A&E

Just checking a couple recent days in Feb
2/13
A&E 48
C&R 41

2/12
A&E 46
C&R 40

But really, once they know the opening date in EP, it won't be hard to cut off MK FP and turn on EP FP, if it's going to have FP at EP. One assumes it will but you know what they say when you assume....
There may well be some overlap at first but I do not believe they will appear in both parks for any significant period of time.

is there any solid intell on whether the 'new' Norway stuff (meet/ greet and ride) will open at 11 (as WS does now) or if they will move it up to 9 am?

Yes, I've seen more of a balance with wait times the last few trips. In January we were surprised that most of the time Cinderella/Rapunzel were actually longer. Once night we really chuckled, Cinderella/Rapunzel 40 minutes and Anna/Elsa were 15 minutes. When we saw them (with FP+) we were taken right in and when we looked back into the standby - there were none, only for Cinderella side.

In that case...I would expect an uptick in wait times with A&E moving to Epcot if they are not also in MK. The "newness" of them being in Epcot coupled with the new ride being right there will probably make standby jump back up again for a while.

I agree. I don't think it will be so much to meet the sisters but to see the new Meet & Greet building and all the details. I'm going to be heading there for the building.

I think that's a poor decision to have them be only at Epcot. Think of how many more people go to MK than Epcot with little girls and will be disappointed to learn that the two most popular princesses aren't at that park. Multiple characters meet at more than one more park, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with Anna and Elsa.

Oddly enough I really enjoy seeing Snow White and Aurora outside at MK around Main Street. It's nice to just walk by and see a few princesses out and about rather than them all be confined to the hall.

For just the reason you mention, though opposite.
Everyone goes to MK. They don't need A&E there to draw in anyone.
However, lots of folks skip Epcot. Put A&E there and they will go.
It has nothing to do with characters in multiple parks. They do that all the time
