Anna and Elsa late afternoon/early evening

We are only going to Epcot for 1/2 day on our arrival day. Will probably arrive around 3pm and will stay til close. My daughters are obsessed with Anna and Elsa and would love for them to meet them but a 4-5 hr wait is not realistic since our time at Epcot is limited. Has anyone had experience going late in the day and only having a 2hr or less wait?

Last week they had closed the line for the day before 4.

people have waited in shorter lines at the end of the day but you need to find out when they're last 'set' is (I think right now it's around 6 pm) and you may run into the problem that the PP mentioned - the line may close early.

It will (IMO) depend a bit on when you're going (crowd-wise) and their meeting schedule - when we met in January they started meeting at 11 am and met later in the day. Then they tried starting to meet at 9 am and meeting until around 6 pm. The schedule since then has varied between those 2 - keep an eye on the boards and be informed about their schedule for your timeframe.

I'm subbing because I am too curious if afternoon waits are better than using precious touring time in the morning.

Unless you get lucky, pretty much nothing helps except the Akershus early entry and even that results in at least an hour wait for them to start and then to get to you, apparently.

When I was at Akershus yesterday the family at the table next to us had the grandmother stand in line for Anna and Elsa while the mother, daughter and son went to get their table. Then the mother asked us to watch her son while she and her daughter went to switch spots in line. They missed every other princess but got to see Anna and Elsa. It was worth it to the little girl
