Is this attraction still in the Jurassic Park section of I.O.A.?

When we were there in 2002 I remember seeing this - I think it was called Triceratops Encounter or something similar.

It doesnt appear to be on the park maps and I cant find any info on this on the Universal site's.

There was a thing called Triceratops Trail, but it's gone of a while now.

Actually it was Triceratops Encounter, then it may have changed the name to trail, but either way, its totally gone now....I thought for sure they were going to put it somewhere else, like part of the river adventure but they never did.

Its sad...

The only good thing now is around the Discovery Center they have a baby triceratops that's pretty realistic

Funny this thread should come up today. I was walking by the old Trike Encounter, and guess what I saw through the bushes?
Go on, guess....I'll post some pics later today.

I think the triceratops got very sick and they had to put him down.

As I said earlier, I was poking around the island today, and through the bushes I saw this:

Yes, these were all taken from the main path. Everything looked as if it had recently seen some movement, as if someone had been back there looking at things recently. Someone on another board has said that the Dinos are in disrepair, and they may be looking to update JPRA with the trikes in this area. Maybe thats happening? I've got to say something needs to happen with the whole JP area soon, it looks bad. From the breakdowns at the river adventure to the lack of anything else in the area.....something needs to happen, even if they just do a big heavy rehab of the river adventure...SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN!

I just hope they don't close the Jurassic park ride or the area since it was one of the draws for me to go to Universal.
