Animator's Palate on 7 day Eastern

We have heard conflicting reports about the "show" at Animator's Palate on the 7 day eastern cruise....some have said that the show takes place during the first 3 nights of the cruise; a book we just bought says that there is NO sunday night show, only shows on Sat, Mon and Weds. we are trying to figure out the best night to make a reservation at Palo but don't want to miss the Animator's Palate show if our dining rotation has us eating at AP on the 2nd night.

we are cruising 9/6 thru 9/13 (our 1st time). can anyone comment?....thanks!

I beleive I can answer your question. The show will be on the the first night you are scheduled to dine in Animator's Palate on a non-theme night(ie. formal night).
Check out the dining rotation chart that mmouse37 has put together. She has done a fantastic job on keeping it up-to-date.

I don't remember our dinning rotation, but a couple of years ago our "show" was on our 2nd night in AP. The first evening in AP was either formal or semi formal. Even though I'm not a black tie type of guy - and will not wear a suit or tux while on the cruise, AP is kind nice for the formal or semi-formal night because the room, chairs and tablecloths are all black and white - kinda ties it all together.

This is still confusing, but I checked the latest Navigators posted on www.castawayclub.com (Barb and Tony's site) and for both the Eastern and Western they are showing the first three nights as regular rotation dinners, with the themed dinners the last 4 nights. If that is still the case, the "show" would be on your first visit to Animator's Palate.

The "show" is a bit of a non-event. I wouldn't sweat it.

We just got back from the Eastern on Saturday and our rotation was LAP. We had the show on Sunday night which was formal night.
