Animator's Palate - no breakfast or lunch?

Ive read that sometimes we can get breakfast &/or lunch at Parrot Cay & Lumiere's. Is there a reason (besides the other restaurants already having it avail) that AP doesnt serve either? Looking for a way to checkout the restaurants in case DH doesnt adhere to the no shorts policy. I know go with DS!

They only have so many staff available for breakfast or lunch, and those that are not serving at one of the sit-down restaurants are busy with the breakfast and lunch buffets or other food service places on the ship. Animator's Palate does not serve breakfast or lunch.

The kids from the clubs go to Animator's Palette for most of their lunches too.

Animator's is also used for a couple of classes - one was on Drawing Mickey Mouse.

Also... Animator's Palate is a big, windowless room. I think they'd like to limit how much folks can look at the animated walls so that it still seems somewhat novel when you go there at dinnertime. And most folks like to have daylight and a sea view when they eat breakfast and lunch. Thus Lumière's/Triton's and Parrot Cay are better venues for breakfast/lunch.
