Animation Viewer Help!!

I just got back from Disney yesterday and while i was there i went to the place on Main St. where you can play VMK. I did a quiz and won an animation viewer. I put it in my room this morning but it would not work. Does anyone know what i can do to make it work or is it just for decoration??

If you double click on it, it should spin - that's all. We have taken to calling it the "salad spinner" Sort of weirdly not very useful.
