Animation studio closed..Does this mean

that that animation tour in MGM is now closed? OR is the layoff a different part...Maybe the back stage tour thing...?

The animation tour is still there, but all the animators' desks are empty. It is now more of an animation exhibit than a tour. My guess is it will eventually become more like the Animation Building at California Adventure, which is filed with lots of exhibit and hands on stuff, but has no animators.

let me also say that I feel horrible that they have been let go in this time that the economy is supposed to be getting better.

I too was in their position of being laid off and it sucks.
Thanks to all of them for some great movies that they got out. Especially Stitch
