Animation Building

I want to make sure I've read this right. The Animation Bldg at HS is closed (or closing)? This is the building that had old past drawings and Characterpoolza in it, right? And where Sorcerer Mickey was? If this IS true.....where have they moved all the characters that were housed here?

yes the animation bldg is closed and will re open in December as Star Wars Launch Bay.
Sorcerer Mickey is at the entrance of the old Backlot Tour (across from the coke bottle that sprays) The Incredibles and Minnie are not meeting anymore, but you can find Playhouse Disney Minnie in the animation courtyard by the entrance to Disney Jr.

Characters are gone, for the most part .
Mickey is farther down the street.

So very sad Loved all the unique characters around there. So much can happen in 3 1/2 years - I just found out the hat is gone too!

Characterpalooza wasn't in the Animation Building, so it hasn't been affected by the closure. If it happens, it's usually at the Tower of Terror exit.
