Animation Building Characters

I have been before to see the mass of characters there. However, I can't remember the times. Can someone help me out here? Thanks

The first set of characters usually start around 4:50pm. They usually have two sets of characters that come out.

Do they do this during the summer too? We'll be going at the end of May/beginning of June. We'd love to see all of these characters!

We were there for my graduation trip and I know they were out earlier, I'm just not sure what time. I want to say that the second set of charaters were out by the time the featured character (Lotso at the time.) came out for the first time. But I know they come out at odd times, not at an hour or half hour time frame.

We just did this in July. At 5 pm, a bunch came out, left at 5:20 and a new group came out, and at 5:40, the 5 pm bunch came out again. We did it 2 different days, and there were different ones each day. A great way to meet a lot of characters with short lines.

Mickey in blue hat
Lotso
and we heard the incredibles were coming out.

The line up for Mickey had about 40 people at 930 and it was SLOW moving.
We ending up leaving and seeing him at toontown in 1/2 the time. Lotso had a quicker line but I didnt want to meet him- my DD dosnt know any characters besides goofy and minnie she just loves to cuddle and play peekaboo with them- we loved the pics . Around 950 we left to see Monsters Inc characters at the backlot. They had a short line as they came out at 10.

Ohhh I'm glad to hear that Lotso is still out, I'm going in 2 and a half weeks, hope he is still about then! x

I thought they were replacing Lotso with the Tangled characters. Anyone know if this is true, whe they will do this, or where else you can find Rapunzel and Flynn? We are leaving in 9 days and I would love to meet those two.

The Rapunzel meet & greet starts on October 15th in Fantasyland next to Gepetos sweet shop.

Be aware that Sorcerer Mickey, Lotso, and the Incredibles (Ma, Pa, and Frozone) are the characters that are there all day long. I believe the OP's intention was when the other "surprise" characters--which could be almost anybody, both common and rare--appear. As others has posted, 4:50 and 5:20 are the usual times, but I believe only on nights where there is not an early Fantasmic! scheduled (others please correct this last part if I have it wrong).

This is our family's favorite place to do M&Gs, as the lines are usually pretty short, and you never know who you will see!

I was there in May and there was probably only around 5 or 6 families around when the characters started coming out. I saw Mary Poppins and Mr Penguin, Hook and Smee, Pocahontas and Meeko, Jasmine and Genie, the Evil Queen, Pinocchio and Gepetto, Minnie and Pluto, and Goofy.

If they are rotating two sets, it'll be 4:50 and 5:20. If they are rotating three sets, it'll be 4:50, 5:10, 5:30.

When we met in July, we hit the jackpot. The kids met Lotso, Stitch, Frozone, Mr. Incredible, Mary Poppins, Captain hook, Mr. Smee, Mulan and Belle. Also there were Chip and Dale, Aladdin, Jasmine, Pluto, MinnieSorcerer Mickey, Mrs. Incredible (I think) and Jafar.
