Animation academy

This was something we had never done before so we tried it out. DH, me, and DD(16) went in and we really enjoyed it. We got to draw Minnie but the character changes often on who you draw. MY DS(13) and DD(17) did not go in but since we got home the DS has been trying to draw them by looking at ours. IT made us laugh to draw them and yet it also made su feel like we might not have done so bad. You get to bring your creation home so it made a cute page in the scrapbook. WE all want to do it when we go back. Just goes to show try soemthing new you might just like it.

it is located in disney quest. my family and i have done it a couple of times. our drawings are now proudly hung on the walls. it was a blast and just a nice place to sit. i am glad you enjoyed it!!

They have an animation class at Disney Quest! My ds(8) and I did this in March while my dh was trying out his coaster in the simulator! It was lots of fun! It is free, but if you want a copy of your sketch to take home it is a nominal fee! We drew Mushu! I paid for my son a copy and it also came with a certificate! He really enjoyed doing it and was very proud of his finished project! I would highly reccomend trying it! Everyone doing it seemed to be having a good time! Also, they rotate showing each ones drawing up on a screen at the front, so everyone can see each ones progress!

We did this when we were there in Feb. We all drew Tigger. We stayed afterwards and talked to the instructor. At the end we asked for her drawing. She signed it and gave it to us. When we got home, my DH made a frame to hold her picture and the one my DS (5) drew. It looks really neat.

We did this in the MGM in the Disney Animation tour/exhibit.
