I just wonder how the duck broke his wing. I can just see a kid running after the duck and it not being able to get away.

It was probably a Sand Hill Crane. They are about 4' tall and not afraid of anything (including cars as they back up traffic).

And I don't think I had posted this, but here's a picture taken in the Adventureland men's room (don't you hate when people sneak cameras into the stalls??? )

Can you Imagine walking in on one of these...I wouldn't need to do what I walked in there for in first place anymore

We came back late from the Magic Kingdom one night in June (like, 1am) to find a mama duck and her 5 babies having a swimming lesson in our pool at the Grand Floridian. She had the deep end while several (human) families had the shallow end.
We sat and watched for more than a half hour. The picture isn't great, but I have a video somewhere as well.

No pictures, but this was the funniest thing. Last year we were on the WDW Railroad at MK and I saw a real deer in the same spot as the fake deer. She was staring at them, probably trying to figure out why they wouldn't move I thought I was losing my mind but other people saw it too On that same trip I saw two armadillos. I had never seen one before in my life. I saw one on the ground when I was on the monorail. I happened to be looking at the ground at just the right time.

Don't have the pics with me I will post from home but we saw a flock of wild turkeys grazing in a clearing in the woods on the road from Ft Wilderness toward Golden Oak back in November on Thanksgiving weekend.

We also have a picture of a real deer from the Liberty Belle near the spot on the shore where they have a fake deer probably about 4 feet from the fake deer. Some kid kept going mama look its a deer and she was like yeah honey I know but he kept saying but no mama IT IS A DEER. Another adult (not w/ the mother/child) finally looked and said well it is a real deer. This was on 10/1.
