does anyone know why animal kingdom is not open until 9 like the other parks. it doesnt get dark til 9 this time of year wouldnt you think it would be open later

It probably has something to do with the animals... but it's too bad. The atmosphere is so great there. We are always getting kicked out of this park at closing. We'd love to linger!

I think it has to do with the animals. They try to keep them on a regular schedule and having them out that late would disturb that. And having people in the park with all the noise would also disturb them. I'm just guessing here.

I think they have always planned for early closings here, since they can't have a big fireworks show. You'll notice they don't even have places open to eat dinner at - no nice sit-downs, anyway.

It would be so cool though, to have the place light up with the "canned" moonlight and see the tigers stalking around.

Hey, Disney - How about a Moonlight Safari, like the sunrise safari?
