We went two weeks ago. Get there prior to the park opening because the opening show is nice. Then go to Expedition Everest and ride it using the standby line. If you really like it, ride again and then get a fast pass for later in the day.
Most people advise going on the Safari early because the animals are more active but, really, anytime before noon is fine unless it is just blazing hot. We went around 1pm and actually had one of the best experiences we'd ever had and it was a pretty warm day. We walked right on.
Keep an eye on the show schedule because they are only offered periodically. The Festival of the Lion King is a "must see".
Remember that Kali River Rapids will get you wet so do this as you exit the park. Keep your feet off the floor and on the bar footrest on the circular thing in front and you won't have to slosh around in wet shoes all day. White t-shirts not advised.
Catch G-Force in Dinoland USA, if you can. They're an impressive trampouline act. We enjoyed "Smear, Splat, & Dip" in this area too.
See Divine - you'll have to look for her - in Asia. She is amazing.
We also really enjoyed the Karuka Acrobats in Africa,
The times guide doesn't do the best job w/ AK entertainment so click on the Animal Kingdom link at
