animal kingdom with a 9 month old?

What is there to do with a little one at Animal Kingdom. We are trying to decide between a half day there or at MGM. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hi,
We took our baby when she was 9 months old in November. We had a great time at animal kingdom. She was able to do the safari ride (we just took some snacks for her to keep her busy). We also did the festival of the Lion King (she actually slept throught the whole thing... go figure) We did the Pocohantas animal show too. And we went to breakfast at Donalds Breakfastoraus which was also alot of fun and she enjoyed the characters.

As for the adult stuff my husband and I took turns with fast paces and babyswaps. It was alot of fun.

Have a great trip! It was alot of fun going with her at 9 months (she wasnt walking yet and was happy hanging out in her stroller!)

As the PP mentioned, there are shows and the safari ride. There are also lots of animals to see on walking paths which she might enjoy. At MGM, it would be mainly the shows for her (baby swap rides at both parks). I would do AK over MGM.
