Animal Kingdom Villas, Jambo House - help with room request

I have 7 nights in a standard view deluxe studio at Jambo House!! I'm excited to try out this beautiful resort. However, I see on touring plans that there are not very many standard view studios and most of them are actually pool view and have a moderate rating for "noise".

Who's stayed in the studio villas on the 5th floor with a pool view? Did they play loud music or anything to prevent napping or a 10pm bedtime?

I want to put in a request to be on the other side (Kudu trail) which is rated as not only quiet, but appears to have a partial Savannah view. But since there are so few rooms, I'm wondering if I should just put in a room request for the quietest location.

All the DVC studios at Jambo House are on the fifth floor and five more are located on the sixth floor as part of a two bedroom lockoff Concierge villa (they go very quickly at eleven months out). Standard is pool view with a few having an obstructed savanna view. The value villas are smaller than the standard or savanna view villas (about three feet shorter in depth). So when you are looking at the floor plan, the shorter ones won't be available to you.

I stayed in a studio on the jambo side, and as D&B stated they are on the 5th floor only.. So TBH I don't recall any noise issue...We were in the 1st pod of rooms on the Giraffe trial, kind of over where the JIKO / walkway awnings are....I thought it was ideal, to get to the lobby, pool, and most of all, the buses to and from the parks..

I would simply put a request in for a quiet room. I wouldn't worry about the pool view being too loud from the 5th floor, but, in any case, the main issue is quiet for the little ones sleep.

It is easiest to simply ask for what you need. It gives the best chance of success.
