We also did the Rhinos and it as absolutely the highlight of the trip. Wong able to actually touch one was amazing. But very tough to book. We could only find availability towards the end of our 9-day trip that was in the “slow” season in Aug/Sep. I think they only have space for 14 or 15 people and it’s only offered 1x/day.
We have done the Caring for Giants and it was alot of fun. Very informative. If you don't get the rhinos booked, try for this one, you won't be disappointed.
If I could book only one, I agree with above, try for rhinos first with elephants as a backup. Guests have the opportunity to get way much more up closer and personal with a rhino whereas viewing the elephants is only from a distance.
I'm hoping to do the rhino tour, with the elephants as a backup if I can't get it. Do the tours open for booking at midnight 60 days from arrival day? Or is it 6:00?

I’ve done both and enjoyed them both a lot! We lucked out with the elephant one getting to see Baby Cora on one of her first days out on the savanna!
Yes be ready to book at midnight 60 days before arrival
