I have a question about our strategy for Animal Kingdom:
My FP+ opens tomorrow and I'm trying to plan what I want. We're a party of 4, but initially I was thinking one of the things are going to be split. I planned on booking:
Na'Vi (4)
Safari (4)
Kali (2) <--- my son can't stand Kali so he and FIL will sit this one out
Which leaves 2 FP+ left. I was thinking of booking the character M&G for DD & DS (just letting DD use FIL's band). But DD has ASD and I'm honestly not sure if she'll be okay going through the queue with just DS. If I explained it to the CM do you think they might allow me to just stay with her in line, but not meet the character so I can take a picture?
OR...
If this isn't allowed, if DD thinks she can handle the queue with just DS with her, can I send the children (11 and 8) to go by themselves, but send my camera with them, and then have a CM use my phone to take a picture?
OR...
Do DD and I just rope drop Kali and save the FP+ for something all four of us can do? I know Kali doesn't open until 9:30. Can we get in line before it opens? If not, how long realistically will the line be as soon as it opens? Or, could I go and get a DAS return time as soon as the park opens, or will there not even be anyone there to issue return times until 9:30?
