Animal Kingdom start hop to Hollywood Studios Help with Lightning lane

We are going to Disney 2 weeks from today over Memorial Day weekend. We are starting on Saturday May 28 at Animal Kingdom and want to hop over to Hollywood Studios.
We want to ride Avatar and Rise of the Resistance. We also want to ride Slinky Dog. What is the best strategy to do this? Animal Kingdom opens at 7, so if we got there at rope drop, I'm thinking that is going to be a bad way to try to be on the phone at 7am booking the Individual Lightning Lanes for Avatar and Rise of the Resistance. We also want to do Slinky Dog. What are our options? Do we need to Rope Drop Animal Kingdom and hurry to Avatar, or should we buy the ILL? And can one of us be buying ILL for Avatar and the other buying Rise of the Resistance at the same time? Thanks for any suggestions on how to manage ILL and Genie Plus for these two parks on the same day. We have to be over at HS by 2:50 for our Droid Depot reservation.

Yes, you can both be booking at the same time. I don't think you will have trouble booking all 3 of them.

I would probably book Flight of Passage first since you need a morning time. Rise and Slinky will only show you times after 2pm. If Slinky shows no availability, keep checking it. Availability will probably reappear at about 7:10 or so.

If you don't do Flight of Passage at 7am, it shouldn't hurt to take the time to do the bookings. Everything else at Animal Kingdom will basically be a walk-on at 7am early entry.
