Is this the one that goes (pardon me for trying to write this into words):

I feel as though it's in an African dialect (Swahili?)

If the same song plays on the bus as on the Safari, its Hapa Duniani off a CD called African Dawn - Voices of Celebration. Sadly, the rest of the CD is more new agey than tribal ethnic in my opinion.

I have read that Hapa Duniani is the Lord's Prayer in Swahili.

It is likely either Tree of life or Sunset from the Animal kingdom CD referenced above
