Breakfast: Tusker
Lunch/Dinner: Yak & Yeti
Quick Service: Pizzafari (but I like Disney pizza)

Counter service = Flame Tree

Another option is to catch a bus to AKL and enjoy the amazing food they have there

Tusker House no doubt about it.

We really enjoyed Tusker House. My DS 11 even said it's his first choice for our next trip.

Tusker House - the best of many things.

Food has exotic flavors of Boma for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are Characters.

Good food and Characters inside a Park; best in-Park buffet.

Rainforest is cool - but no Characters and the food is - meh.
Yak & Yeti - my least favorite of any Landry place I've ever eaten. Nothing authentic about most of the food.
Flame Tree - outdoors and you often fight with the birds.

Head over to the Lodge and try Jiko, Boma, or Sanaa. They're all much better than the restaurants at the park.

Head over to the Lodge and try Jiko, Boma, or Sanaa. They're all much better than the restaurants at the park.

My family enjoys Sanaa for any daylight meal, however, getting back to a Resort after here (or any of the AKLodge restaurants) can be an added burden if taking Disney Transportation.

You can't go wrong with either Tusker House or Yak and Yeti. I probably like Yak and Yeti a bit more because it is less expensive and you have a choice in food. If you want characters, IMO, Tusker House is currently the best character meal at WDW.
