Animal Kingdom Resorts

Kidani Village. It has under building parking and you may be able to get a spot near the elevator that close to your room.

I've never parked or stayed at Jambo, but the parking was very convenient at Kidani. There's a basement garage under the resort, and the elevator came up relatively close to our villa.

Stayed at both Kidani and Jambo, Kidani has immensely better parking than Jambo. Kidani is an underground lot with elevators right up into the hotel (especially nice if it's raining), whereas Jambo is just your standard parking lot, with a decent walk to the hotel depending on the spot you snag.

Jambo has a large lot that you walk to from the front door. It is a short walk (less than 80 yards) to the lot but walk to car once in the lot can then be short to quite long depending on where you get a space. Kidani has under-building parking (actually it is the ground floor since rooms start on second floor) that runs throughout the building. Each of the two wings has elevators near the lobby and then two along the wing. You can usually park fairly close to an elevator and then elevator to room is usually fairly close.

Not to be picky, but it's ground level parking. Because of the high water table, there is little to no true under ground parking in Florida.

Kidani's parking is on the ground floor under the building, making it very convenient and protected from the elements. When we have had to make two trips between the room and the car (when unloading groceries for example) we appreciated being able to park so close to our room.

As a frame of reference, Jambo's parking is very similar to that at the Wilderness Lodge. Of course if you have never been to the Wilderness Lodge then this information is of no help to you. ;)

We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge, so we're familiar with the parking there.
Would you have to carry your groceries through the lobby at Jambo House or are there side entrances

You will have to carry your groceries through the lobby. The DVC Villas at Jambo house were made from existing guest rooms. They are not in a separate building like they are at the Wilderness Lodge. It would be similar to the walk from the Wilderness Lodge to one of the guest rooms down the wings from the lobby in the main lodge building.

WL and Jambo House have nearly identical footprints. They were designed by the same architect.

Where as with Kidani, you park by your elevator and go up to your room, bypassing the lobby.
