Any one have Video of the Animal kingdom parade on Jan 26?

We were chosen to be in it but had no one to video us on the float?

Congrats! I can't help with the video--but was wondering if you got a feel for the reason you were picked for the parade? Our first time at WDW we were picked to open MK. My kids loved it so much--I'm afraid that if we don't get picked again this time, their trip won't be the same!

This was our 5th time to go with the children and the very first time we ever got picked for the parade. It's is just being at the right place at the right time. They have people out in the parks and they look for people to be in the parade and ask if you would like to. We had to rearange a few things but it was worth it. Enjoy your time there .

You know, it's funny you ask this. I was just looking at our photos from our Thanksgiving trip. I wondered what the people on those floats, especially in AK, did for photos. It's too bad there isn't someone from Disney that could make little video's for each family. How nice would that be. Do they even take a picture for you?

They took pictures of us with a disposable camera and gave it to us which was very nice. I would love to have a copy of the video. I saw plenty of people videoing .

I have pictures (no video though) from the AK parade on the 23rd, but we were at the MGM parade on the 26th!!! I wish I could help you!!! I would love to be one of the parade families some day!! Good luck in your quest!!!

I hope some one that was there will read this. There were a bunch of vidoe cameras rolling that day. I will find some one that was there. Thanks for your help. spread the word if you know anyone else that was there.

We were on the Mickey float in Oct. It was a blast! Our disposable camera had a light leak, so the pictures didn't turn out too good, but we have some from our own cameras. TheColonel, wasn't that music loud from your seats? I'm glad they gave us earplugs. As far as gettting chosen, we were in the character meet and greet area early. A guy approached us, and the rest was history. I've never waved so much in my life.

Yeah it was thew music was kinda loud but not too bad with those earplugs
My daughter started to take hers out mid way of the parade and i had to try and help her and for a moment i forgot to smile and wave. i think i had the most fun of my entire family and i was not too excited about it at first but once the parade started it was AWESOME! I would love to be in the Parade again!

Hope you find someone with video!! We were lucky enough to be in the Animal Kingdom Parade on our recent December trip!! Luckily, our FIL was with us, and videotaped it! There was one dis'er here that said he'd send me a copy of his video, but unfortuantely he never did. OH well! Good luck! Who were you in front of? We were infront of Donald!
