I have finally convinced my boss to goto Disney!

He has a 4 year old daughter - and he is going for 2 days. He will be there Monday March 6 and Tuesday March 6th and Pop Century.

He is worried about his daughter getting tired and the weather - but I finally had him book a hotel and now I am just trying to help him decide what parks to goto.

He is gonna definitly do MK. I told him to skip MGM. And I have been telling him she will love AK. But I want him to have a good time. So I am wondering if he should maybe do Epcot with her.

I am thinking there is more to do at Epcot. He is a high thrill person - he always talks about Cedar Point. His daughter is only 4 - so she is young and might get scared. She might be scared of Dinosaur and Everest and such. And since he goes to Busch Gardens - it might be a duplication.

I have given him the tip of taking her back to the resort after lunch and resting for a few - then come back for fireworks and such. Any other tips would be great

Thanks

I would go for Epcot. The countries are awesome, and there is a variety of attractions they both can enjoy.

My DD3 (last summer) LOVED Epcot. We spent several hours going through Innoventions. Soarin', Journey w/ Figment, Turtle Talk were all big hits. We rode Spaceship Earth 6 times! I would say he should do hopper if he is only going 2 days, and spend 1/2 day each Epcot and AK. If he only wants to do one... my vote is for Epcot.

WOW! What a difficult choice. You can look at it in two ways. I think the daughter would like AK and the boss would like Epcot. So let's weigh it out.

Animal Kingdom- Start out the day at Restaurantosaurus- The characters will be there- Mickey, Pluto, Donald, & Goofy- Great Breakfast! Then, the other attractions - It's Tough to Be a Bug! , The Train, Camp Minnie Mickey, Kilimanjaro Safaris, The animals to pet at Rafiki's Planet Watch, Kali River Rapids, and DINO LAND USA- My kids loved that Boneyard, and all the rides! AND don't forget Festival of the Lion King! I'm not sure if the new show that is replacing "Tarzan Rocks" will be completed by then. I love the mid-day parade at Animal Kingdom, It is my favorite! :thumbsup2

Epcot- They could start with the Princess Breakfast in Norway! There will be Bell, Mary Poppins, Mulan, Jasmine and Snow White.

The daughter would love the new Turtle Talk w/ Crush and the Nemo ride- The Living Seas is always cool! Soarin, is my very favorite ride in all of Disney- I do know that you ahve to be 42 inches tall to ride it.
Honey I shrunk the Audience, Test Track, Mission Space for dad. Norway has a boat ride- that they both could do.

I don't know- It is a tough decision. Tell him about all the rides and attractions and see what he thinks. :goodvibes

It is also nice to book a meal at Crystal Palace in MK - Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger - It is probably too late to get a ressie in the Castle, but his daughter would love that - You might try. Cinderella and others are there for Breakfast and Lunch. OR- they could book a Cinderella Dinner at Grand Floridian " 1900 Park Fare". That is our favorite! The food is excellent! The characters are- Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, and the 2 mice.

I hope this helped! That's the trouble with Disney, Too many wonderful, magical things to do. We stay for 8 days and still can get it all in!
Good Luck, Let us know what he plans! He will have a wonderful time! :cool1:

Trying to plan next trip!! ;)

Hmmm...that is a tough one. But, with a 4 year old, I think I would pick Animal Kingdom. Besides the Safari, there are so many other opportunities to see and learn about animals (the trails, Planet Watch). Camp Minnie Mickey is fun for character greetings and there are all those great shows (Nemo, Lion King). If dad is taking a 4 year old on his own, he probably won't have the opportunity to do any thrill rides anyway. He might as well do the things she enjoys on this trip and plan another trip either with adults or when she's older so he can do the things he wants to do.

I love BOTH! It would be hard to decide. I would def pick either of these over Disney Studios.... How about spending the day in AK and the Afternoon and Evening in EPCOT. Do you have hoppers?

Actually, I would go for AK or MGM. MGM has the 3D muppet thing, plus all those shows - little mermaid, beauty and the beast, playhouse disney.

If only going for 2 days with a 4 year old girl, I think MK and MGM would be best. I wouldn't go to Epcot if I only had 2 days. If it is a choice between Epcot or AK then I guess AK would be better with a 4 year old.

MGM has Playhouse Disney, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie set, Muppet Vision, Great Movie Ride. Plus it is a smaller park and easy to get around with the 4 year old. Have pizza at the Pizza Planet, or the Sci Fi would be fun too.

AK has Nemo, Safari, Lion King, Boneyard, Pocahontas.
