Animal Kingdom: On which day?

Aloha!

We will be going to WDW in 261 days (YAHOO). I was wondering if anyone here can suggest a good day of the week (Mon,Tues,Wed,Thurs,Fri) to go to AK. We have decided not to go to the parks on the weekend because last time we did it was really crowded.

Though, I know what you may be thinking "So what if there is crowds". Were not used to crowded places so we decided to steer clear of the parks on the weekends

As the 'best' days do change quite a bit, with the seasons, what is going on at WDW, as well as the EMH's (AM & PM...best to avoid), my suggestion would be a see if Tour Guide Mike's site would be helpful for you. I think it is well woth the money, especially for the thing you are looking for. I have used him several times, follow his park suggestions for what days/what parks, and found him to be right on the money. And sometimes, totally opposite what I would think, such as this past May, going to MK on Saturday, Memorial weekend. Who would have thought, but it was great.

The Unofficial Guide web site has a crowd calendar that you might want to check. (It's free.) It has specific recommendations of what parks to avoid (and which are projected to be best) by date. Currently they only show recommendations through July 30, 2007, but either on 8/31 or 9/1 it should be updated to include your time frame.
