Animal Kingdom Meal Plus Certificate

We will be going at the end of May and coming home June 1st. I was so happy to be able to squeak in on the end of the meal vouchers. I oredered them Dec. 31st from Hotwire "Just in case they magically disappeared on January 2nd"

I also wanted to get the Animal Kingdom certificates to go to Tuskar House or Flame Tree. Does anyone have any insight if they will still be around? Also, is there anywhere else to buy them ahead, or can I get them only at the park?

As far as I know you can only purchase them at the resteraunt. When you go to place your order just tell them you want to do the Meal Deal thingy (of course I can't think of the actual name at the moment). They will then give you a voucher for your beverage and your choice of ither ice/cream treat or popcorn. We did this in October and it was fabulous.

We also did it last month - for about $6 my daughter got a happy meal and drink, then later on in the day a bottle of water and a mickey pop. Great deal. I believe you can only purchase them at specific restaurants in the AK. They should have them at all the parks!

I read here somewhere recently that Pizzafari no longer offers the kids pizza meal with the Meal Deal. Can anyone confirm that? It was, IMO, the best deal available with the Meal Deal certificates!

We were there in late October and could NOT get the pizza with the meal deal. They had taken the pizza off the kid's menu.

Thanks, I thought that's what I had read! That's what we would have gotten, so we might choose to eat somewhere else instead. Not a huge deal, but it's good to know ahead of time, thanks again!
