Animal Kingdom Lodge Restaurants Best One.

I loved the bread service at Sanaa, but my lamb entree with so tough that I barely had two bites of it. I'd probably go back to the bar and have the bread service, but I doubt if I will eat there again. I know there are other entrees that would be good, but TBH the bread service is more than enough to fill me up.

I loved Boma - ate way too much the first time I went there and woke up the next morning feeling miserable. I thought it was because I ate too much. Turns out it had nothing to do with my meal. I ended up having my appendix out a few hours later. I love being able to have a taste of so many unique items.

We have also had great meals at Jiko. Sometimes I've just had a glass of some great wine with a cheese plate if I'm not too hungry. Other times we've had a full meal. I think it would depend on whether you are a person who likes to try a lot of different things (Boma buffet) vs. having a single entree (Jiko).

Lunch at Sanaa and dinner at Boma (did not like their breakfast).
Try to get a table by the windows at Sanaa, and definitely order the bread service!

All good, 3 very different experiences, so what are you looking for?

More intimate, upscale dining with great wine - Jiko (we have reservations in June)

Sitting by the window, if possible, watching the animals, more casual menu and atmosphere-If I do the bread service I have a tough time finishing my meal!-Sanaa

Love to sample various African/Indian dishes, soups, dressings, salad/ etc with a total lack of ambiance but a great deal of noise- Boma (doing breakfast on check out day)

Not a bad one in the lot!

We absolutely love Boma. It is the only buffet we will go to.

The lounges al AK are awesome. Victoria Falls, Sanna, and the lounge at Jiko. All awesome.

Jiko is my favorite signature.

Enjoy!!

I agree about the lounges. No ADR hassle, the food is good, nice atmosphere.

I can't speak for Sanaa yet as I have an ADR in November to try it for the first time. We tried Jiko during our honeymoon in 2015 and didn't think it was very good. It was okay, but as far as signature restaurants are concerned, I don't think it's as good as some of the others on property. Boma is so good! I liked it for breakfast, but dinner was awesome. There are so many choices from all the soups, salads, meats, sides, and desserts. It's fantastic.

They offer a culinary tour in the afternoon just before the restaurants open for Jiko and Boma. They explain the design and details of Jiko and let you sample the bread service. Then they take you to Boma and do the same. We sampled the soup of the day and zebra domes. There is no charge for the tour.
