Animal Kingdom Lodge Reception

Hi

We are hoping for Wedding Pavillion ceremony, Animal Kindgom Lodge dinner reception in resturant Jiko and then a Dessert Party later on.

I have looked on the website and there are no sample menus. Has anyone had their dinner reception at AKL, if so could you let me know examples of the menus.

This would help a lot as some of my family are picky eatters.

We just has our dinner reception in The Wine Room in Jiko. Here are the menus we worked from.
OPTION 1
1st course - Taste of Africa, dips and African Breads
2nd course - Individual Sampler Plates of Jiko's Selected Appetizers
3rd course - Guest selection of either Petite Barbecue Chicken Flatbread OR
Chef's Market Appetizer Selection
4th course - Tomato Cucumber Salad with Red Onions and Watermelon
Vinaigrette
5th course - This Season's Soup
6th course - Intermezzo
7th course - Guest Selection of the Following Main Plate -
Seasonal Lamb Preparation
Oak Grilled Filet of Beef
Market Fish with Maize Crust
Oven Roasted Chicken

Entrees served with African-Inspired Vegetables and Starches

8th course - Jiko Dessert Sampler (A Taste of our Favorite Three Desserts-
to share)


$125.00 pp. This is the choice we took, without the dessert. It was $4 less
pp without the dessert.
