ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE Concierge Level?

Hello All! Brunette here again.

Everyone seems to be so helpful on these boards.

With that said, we booked a 2 night stay at the AKL CL for September 16. Price including tax was $672.00. This is with a annual passholder rate.

Does anyone like this lounge level? Any dislikes? Also, does anyone know what the offerings are?

Any opinions/suggestions/comments?

I haven't stayed CL personally but my Uncle did in May 2011 & LOVED IT! He's stayed at every CL Resort & he said AKL is his favourite.

But bare in mind that the food is African inspired so if you don't like that type of food then AKL CL probably isn't for you.

We stayed there in January. First time at a Deluxe and first time staying CL. We LOVED IT!!!! I have been spoiled and only want to stay Deluxe now! I really liked the lounge. It wasn't anything breathtaking but I like how it looked over the lobby! They had a really nice flat screen tv and comfy couches and chairs in there. As far as the food it wasn't scary at all. For breakfast they had cereal, fruit, bagels, croissants, and stuff like that. In the afternoon they had cookies, chips, prezetls, goodfish that sort of thing. At night they had pb and j sandwiches, some veggies, like carrots, and such with some yummy dip. For dessert they had HUGE chocolate coverd strawberries, and a bunch a really fancy stuff I have no idea what they were called but were very tasty! Oh and they have this African smoothie there that my hubby feel in love with. He probably had like 10 of them a day.
