Hi all!

Is it normal that I can’t book any of these for the start of Jan 2025? It’s in my plus 10 timeframe but all the days are greyed out so no wild Africa trek, caring or giants and up close with rhinos available. Does this mean no special experiences likely that first week in Jan? Thanks for all the help so I can plan appropriately.

These are released each day at midnight. Is there potential that they are full? I’m not sure how quickly those tours fill up. The dates you are going tend to be on the busier side. I would recommend trying again tonight at midnight (as well as checking at other times) to see if anything possibly opens up.

Thank you so much for the help! I’ve been trying at midnight the past few days but the date isnt even available to click on. It’s not that I do it and it tells me no spaces. Any chance this is an IT error and I’ll get a different answer if I call? Oh the fun and stress of Disney planning!

I know the rhino and elephant extras fill up very quickly. I had a 2 week trip and I logged in right at midnight and I couldn't get anything even for the end of my trip, it was all booked. Hope it works out for you! If all else fails, Behind the Seeds is great (Epcot), love that tour.

All enchanted extras are greyed out for me too after December 25, even though I can (and have) done restaurant bookings to the 29th December. I checked wild Africa, savor the savanna and behind seeds, caring for elephants, can’t select a date after the 25th so I doubt it is a booked out issue (because nothing is available on the 25th for any of them but I can choose that date). Keys to kingdom won’t let me choose a date past 21st December.

They initially did not open the days (like you couldn't even select into January). I noticed last night you could finally click into January but still no availability. This morning Jan 1-4 all have availability for Up Close with Rhinos (haven't checked Caring for Giants).

Thank you so much everyone for the help! We have it now (whooo hooo!). I had called and I think it was an IT issue that things were changing to the new year but phew- all sorted and rhinos in our future! Thank you!!

I just cancelled a wild Africa trek for December 16th (tomorrow) for 3 people, just in case anyone looking to get it last minute. Sadly, we have all got sick so it’s going to be a hotel room day for us. Hope this is useful for some one.
