Hi there,
we're heading to Disney today and will be staying three days at Fort Wilderness cabins and then moving to a one bedroom room at Animal Kingdom on Monday. Sounds like there is a good possibility that we might be hanging out at our resort more then we initially planned. :-)
I would like to ask at check-in if there is a possibility to upgrade to a club level room. Has anybody here done that and do you recall the cost?

Yesterday I was on the phone for about 2 1/2 hours waiting to add a dining plan to the first part of our trip, apparently there are many cancellations happening for the weekend so I think it's possible that there might be club level availabity although I don't know how many

Cost would be the difference between what you're paying now per night and $1004 per night.

ehhh - I'm paying a very discounted rate.
Thanks, Dan. I'll ask when I get there and see if there might be a deal (it might not even be available) if not it's all good, it was never my plan to stay at club level.

You probably won't be in the cabins for three nights. Ft Wilderness will probably close. You may be relocated to other resorts.

That's a good point. When I check in tonight I'll ask what that might look at. Perhaps they could shorten our stay at the cabin by a day and add a day to Animal Kingdom - that would be fine and I'd rather plan it then get shifted someplace else for a single night.
