If one books club level at animal kingdom villas, is it automatically savannah view? Thanks!

There are 5 2-bedroom lockoffs on the concierge level. 2 are roof/pool view and 3 are relatively poor savannah view.

Any idea about the studio and 1 bedrooms?

Two Bedroom Lockoffs consist of a studio and a one bedroom with a connecting door.

There are three one bedrooms and three studios or three two bedroom lockoffs on the Sunrise Savannah, and two studios and two one bedrooms or two two bedroom lockoffs with a pool/roof view. But even if you did get the savannah side, the vantage point is very high and the balcony is partially obstructed by some of the thatch room theme elements. We were on the savannah side and personally didn't have a problem with it, and still saw plenty of animals, just be aware that most people don't book the Kilimanjaro Club for the view since you are not even guaranteed a savannah view.

The savanna view is a dead end or cul-de-sac so the animals don't pass by. The pool view side is more of a view of the roof below and towards the pool.

My guess is that they made these rooms CL for DVC because cash paying guests wouldn't want to stay there.

Got it! Thank you.

Thank you!

Given how few Club Level rooms there are, it's difficult to book one (especially a studio) unless you own AKV and can book right when the 11-month window opens for your dates. At some times of the year non-owners have managed to book AKV Club Level 7 months out but again, you have to be ready to book online at 8am on the day your 7-month window opens.

I think your guess is a good one.

When I used to pay cash for AKL club, I always got a 5th floor room on the Arusha Savannah.

Occasionally I get a DVC Club studio. (I have one coming up this January.)

I've been given the same studio each time, looking out at a lone Ostrich. All I have pictures of from the room is the Ostrich. I stare at him and he stares back at me. I think I'd miss him if he wasn't there. When I want to see other animals I just take a walk around the hotel and pool area.

I still will book the Club room whenever I can get it because I love the convenience of it. It's close to the lobby, in a hotel I like. My coffee and some sort of sweet roll and juice or fruit are ready for me each morning. There's always a beverage for me to end the evening with. And my room always looks fresh and inviting.

CL can be worth it for some and it sounds like you enjoy the location and amenities. :thumbsup2

I suggest that everyone give it a try for themselves but for the DVC CL rooms, I wouldn't stay there for the view.

Back when they allowed smoking in the hotel rooms, I thought the sixth floor concierge rooms were the smoking rooms.
