I see that they have donald's breakfast at dino land.
Has anyone attended this and who is in attendance ?

Generally it is Donald, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto (although they could change...but that is the normal line up). We have done that breakfast a few times and really enjoyed each experience.

I was just going to post about this because I plan on doing this with the kids using the dining plan the morning we are going to AK. So, you had a good experience? Was the food buffet style? Did the characters interact much?

My number one question, is how early can you make a PS for it? I've seen some posts about people not being aloud in the park early to get to the restaraunt and missing their PS times, but I want to be out of there by the time the park opens. Any hints/ideas? Where do you go to gain the early admittance- front gate? Are people there that early to let you in? Did you have any trouble.
SO sorry for all the questions, but I appreciate the help.

You can book breakfast starting at 8am. You will generally be allowed into the park starting right at 8am. Keep in mind that this is how they do it everyday so even though you are late...you are not "late" the restaurant knows you are coming. For AK they generally have CM's from the restaurant at the main entrance with the Priority Seating list. You will check in with them and someone will walk you to the restaurant (as you could easily get lost going to Restaurantosaurus if you have never been to AK before).

this is one of our "can't miss" ressies, good food, good characters (one of the few places you see donald, and goofy is always a hoot) This part of the park does not open early, so the only way to get in is to have PS. There are cast members who will turn you back, so be sure to tell them where you are headed. We like to book early, then hit the rides and attractions on that side right after we eat, as the majority of people are still headed to the safari on the other side.

Some will complain about the buffet lineup (there's a McDonald's association) but I think the french toast is the best in the World. There's a wide selection and plenty of food.

It's also one of our must-do's each and every trip. My two boys ages 14 and 11 love it!!! We always get a 8:00 am reservation so we can hit the park when we finish. This past June we missed our reservation thanks to some Star Wars event my boys just HAD to attend at MGM. They used to "gather" groups of people together with the same PS time and walk you back to the restaurant. Are they still walking people back for the early PS times? I don't imagine they do once the park opens to everyone.
