Animal Kingdom animals

In planning our AK day, I saw various animals listed under Attractions - elephants, tigers, lions, etc. It is listed as Disney Animals - lions. I don't remember there being a separate viewing area for these animals aside from K Safaris and the walking trails for the tigers. Is this something new?

There is not a separate area - I found that confusing on MDE when I saw it too.
