Animal Kingdom and character breakfast

I'm also trying this on the dining board. I want to try an early (8am) Donald's breakfast. Is staying at AKL, logistically, any easier than the other Disney properties? We have already stayed at the Contemporary, so wanted to try something different.

We stayed at AKL and loved it! Kids loved Donald's as well, better than Chef Mickey's. I see you too are from GA and I am not sure whether you are driving or not, but we had our own car and getting from AKL to the Animal Kingdom Park was a snap. We had an early PS. I understand AKL doesn't share a bus with anyone if you are going that route. But if you have your own car, you would pretty much have easy access from anywhere.

Do not worry at all!!!! Just be at the bus stop early! We were at the AKL and had an 8am PS at cindy's!!! Made it with plenty of time!
