Animal Kindom Value vs Standard room

Does anyone know what the difference is between the standard and value villas at AKV? I stayed in a Savannah View last year and loved it! Want to go back but need to keep my points down this year so I am thinking about one of these...

The Value is about 3 feet shorter and the 1-bedroom and larger Values will not have a sleeper chair. The Values only exist in Jambo House and can have a pool view, savanna view or parking lot view.

We stayed in Jambo at Christmas 2009 Value SV and found it to be doable with 1 teen and 1 Tween. Saved some points and had a GREAT stay...Enjoy! Shawn

I once stayed in a standard view for 3 nights, then switched over to a value studio for 3 nights. My main reason for doing that was to make the comparison for myself. It didn't have a smaller "feel", but I was solo, so maybe that's part of the reason I didn't feel it. Since then, I've booked value studios 4 times, standard not at all since values are cheaper and, in my opinion, just as nice.

As noted, they have various views. It's luck of the draw with what you end up with. In our two stays in a Value we had one with Savannah and one with parking lot.

I had no idea you could still end up with a Savannah view! I know it is not a guarantee but it is still great that it could be a possibility! I think I will try the value and save some points.
