Animal Kimgdom evening hours - when do they finish?

Does anyone know how long AK evening hours will be running for? I'm looking at the park hours for September and they still show closing time as 5pm. Is the evening opening only for the summer?

They will get around to extending all of the fall hours. Eventually.

Based on a response on Disney Parks Blog to this very question, I think we can expect extended evening hours at AK from here on out. As minnie mum says, they just haven't gotten around to extending those fall hours yet.

Considering early July was still showing 5 p.m. closing as of a couple of days ago, I would not worry about Fall hours being accurate yet. In fact, based on when they updated these most recent ones, they won't update the September and later hours until late July...

DAK is becoming an "After Dark" park effective Friday-there will be no more 5:00 PM,etc. closings.

Many "after dark" offerings starting Friday.

Plus Avatarland will look best in the nighttime.
