Animal Crossing Issues...

It's Sunday morning here - you can get turnips from us. I'm resetting our calendar this morning and am doing it in quite the clinical fashion. I tested it out and I jumped one day at a time to then go out and water. I also discovered I could do two days and water each jump. It's a bit of effort, but if you make sure to water your hybrids and jacob's ladders each jump, they will survive!

I managed to make it back to today with minimum damage.

Thanks for the offer but I really won't have much playing time today, my house is a mess so I think I will be taking care of sick boy and cleaning. It's a good thing it's a public holiday today.

Does anyone have a neighbor threatening to move? We have a rabbit on her way out, and were wondering who might replace her.

Wow sounds like I missed out on a lot of fun! Unfortunately I spent all day at the hospital with my boyfriend :sad1: not really a good day but he is home now and should be alright. This is the first day since I got the game that I haven't been on, which is a scary thought. I hope that not too many flowers have died. It also means that I have missed Joan for the week, oh well. My boyfriend is so so so much more important than the game.

I hope the boyfriend is doing well...I am 2 days behind so you could buy turnips off me on Tuesday morning if you want.

Thanks Jan for letting me come over to your town to sell my turnips! I only wish I could have time travelled and bought more. I let DF play along last night because I wanted to show him how annoying the keyboard was. Anyway, he was typing in the messages for me and well... we went and bought a Wii Speak today :goodvibes So I will install it in a little bit and see who's online!

Quirky - Hope your boyfriend is feeling better! Maybe you can have a flowering watering party and we can help you tend to your flowers :)

Hope all is well. The game, after all, is just a game.

We do hope your boyfriend is doing better. Greg is right about it being a game.

We do have to admit that it is a life-changing one.... It is one that has brought all of our lives wonderfully together to give us a support network if we need it!!!!!

I am sorry I haven't read this thread until now! I hope your boyfriend is feeling better, and that you are both able to get some rest and feel better!

I've been unable to get online lately but miss playing with you all... hopefully I'll get it fixed this week.

Take care, all!

Wow that is funny. My rabbit, Carmen, is threatening the same thing. And she just moved in three weeks ago. I think she will leave too, because when I told her not to leave, she said thanks but it is time to go. I guess we will see. Maybe the rabbits will exchange towns.

Nancy - what was funny was I had 15 pockets filled with turnips, I think 100 each. Then I sold them. All I kept thinking was, was that $300,000 bells is a lot of money to spend on turnips. I was laughing because I sold the one pocket full and made $600,000 bells. I couldn't believe it. I was just flabbergasted over the whole turnip thing. So what should have only been one to two hours of watering flowers, I spent four hours running to Gusitown to buy turnips then to Loontown to sell. It was just too funny. I figured turnips were just something else to do. My selling point has never been higher than 150 and here I was buying and selling. I told Jan this was my last trip and then ended up back in Gusitown for just one more turnip run. If I didn't have Saturday evening plans, I would have continued for a couple more trips. LOL.

Thanks again....it was a lot of fun. And I am now waiting on my fountain, that I thought would take me a couple more weeks to get.

Take care of yourself and your boyfriend. Hope everything gets better!

Couple of questions...

1. How long does it take before your grade changes? I saw on that AC Wikipedia site that you need 8 of 25 acres perfect for the perfect town grade...is that correct? We have worked on 8 of them and we still have the C+/D- grade.:guilty: We planted some new trees (coconut) and about 4 did not grow so I was not sure if that was it or it just took a while.

2. Can you move flowers from areas with grass to areas without, without killing the flowers? We have an area that we planted flowers along the border but there is a path up the middle with no grass. Did not know if we could shift our flowers around in that area.

Thanks!!

As long as the flowers are not in a wilted condition you can move them wherever you want.

Our town got a perfect status, and honestly, we weren't working that hard on it. It actually was perfect before we even knew it. We found a Jacob's ladder (which looked like a lily-of-the-valley to me). I have the Animal Crossing Guide book and it took me a while to find out what it was, and why we had it. Now we have 6!!! and gold watering cans for all (:

Just keep checking on the environment. If you need more trees, plant them here and there, then before you know it, you'll have too many and you'll have to chop some down. Eventually you'll get it.:thumbsup2

That is where we are now...we are told that we have to many trees in some areas.:sad2: Is that right that only 8 acres of the 25 have to have the correct number of flowers and trees for perfect status?

I think we need some visitors to do some town critique in Wishes. Any volunteers? :rolleyes1

We picked up the Wii Speak on Sat. Morn, but then we were so busy all weekend we never had a chance to use it.

My DS7 is going to explode if we don't go visit someone soon!

With that said... who will be around tonight?

May we stop by?

Hey there! Don't usually post here, I'm usually hanging on the budget board - but wanted to let everyone know that on iTunes, there is a new podcast called Brewster's Roost. There are only 3 up now and they are under 10 minutes each. They are cute - it's for both Wild World (DS) and City Folk (Wii). The guy who does it is just starting out, I hope it takes off for him.
(I am in no way affiliated, just a fan.)

News from our town:
1) Our fountain has been completed (yeah.....stated with true roundtable enthusiasm).:yay:
2) Rizzo moved into our town. Hoping for a sheep, got a rat.
3) Six Jacob's ladders so far.
4) Had clover, Lois pulled them out.
5) Nook asked his questions about the kind of store we wanted. All of our answers made him anxious. Can't wait to see what happens next.
6) I had the model room. Stuff a room with Pave and Lyle is happy, even though he complained to me about all the other stuff on the floor. Sorry, I didn't have anywhere else to put the fish I caught.:confused3 :
7) It rained for two days. No watering today!!!!!!
