Hi, I have been a lurker on the Dis for the past year. Last March I found the Dis while I was gathering information for a Disney trip my family was taking that June. I got hooked very quickly! You guys are awesome! I have had so much fun reading trip reports and getting all the tips about Disney World.
My daughter and I play AC on Wii with wii speak - we would really like to join your list of towns to visit. How can we join?

Okay...that is just plain awesome. Poor Pave'...never saw it coming. At least he was happy, dancing, and in the middle of a sugar high when the event occurred. I wonder if there are any suspects....hmmmm.

Don't the CSI folks give up when the number of suspects run into the thousands?

Aha! We have our first clue. The deed could not have occurred in a place with "perfect town" status (like our Disney). If it had, all of the evidence would have been found in the recycling bin.

Let me guess. Pave' was hit in the head with a rock, cut up by scissors and then covered up with paper.......interesting. Explains why my animals always seemed to want to play rock, paper, scissors game...oh and soccer.

Was there a soccer ball anywhere nearby?????

I'll have to send you a PM. The turnip prices in my town this week have been the pits... Another parallel to real life I guess I'm hoping to go somewhere else and sell them so I can at least break even. Do I just go to Copper and he'll give me my friend code?

Yes, Cooper will give you your friend code. When you email someone for friend code exchange, don't forget to give your town name and your character name. Make sure you give the correct spelling and caps. For example your town is FaceBook...make sure your new friend knows about the capital F and B.


Once you get all the info. register your new friend and they will register you and you able to visit each others town when one of you opens your gate.

And what does Pave have against red candies anyway??!! I was left with 6 of them in my pockets!! I hid them in my letters so my animals couldn't take them. I did get 6 Pave floors though, now I can do my whole house in Pave and still have some left over for that guy that collects old flooring!

I've got a b-day coming up in a few weeks. When hubby asked me what I'd like I answered "The 'Twilight' DVD.....oh, and a wireless router." He looked at me as if I had two heads & I simply said "Animal Crossing." He rolled his eyes at me. Believe me when I say that he cannot fathom what a wireless router has to do with Animal Crossing nor does he even know what a wireless router is, but I must somehow convince him that I need this. I would LOVE to visit some new towns and have visitors in mine!!

I would just like to say that it stinks that Festivale was on a Monday. I managed 5 minutes of play time before leaving for work and maybe another hour when I got home. Not nearly enough time to shove candy down Pave's throat and receive the entire collection. I wish I'd thought to hide my bells first like another poster mentioned! I have such greedy animals in my town. I thought Pave's little dance was cute- looked like he was Jazzercizing! (Big jazz hands, Pave'!)

What does everyone do with the designs that Wendel gives. We got grass last week which was okay, but yesterday we got stairs. Just looking for some suggestions.

And is it true we will get more grass for the more trees and flowers we plant? Wishes is looking very brown.

There are lots of different types of flooring patterns you can get from Wendel, some have more than one (e.g. the train tracks have straights and corners). The type you get depends on what you give him - DH did show me these the other week but I'm not sure which site he was looking at.

I think the grass grows back under the flowers better as you tend not to run across them, I think it takes ages in spring anyway so you may have wait til the summer.

I saw Wendell lurking around yesterday, and was looking up in my handy dandy Animal Crossing guidebook (yes, we have the book), and learned he'd give grass for a Koi! Then I caught a Koi!! (and couldn't find Wendell ). I think it was past his bedtime, so now I have a Koi in my house waiting for the next time.

We have very little grass. I had planted some flowers in a corner, the grass grew there nicely. Now I'm starting to move those flowers over, slowly, just one row at a time. It'll take a while (a long while), but I figure it's a start.
I have other similar areas (mostly in corners where we've not done a lot of running and digging). I'll just try to expand them. I don't want to time travel.

My concern is that another one of our animals is going to move, which means maybe a new house will pop up near one of those signs. I have to run around later and move any flowers that are near those signs, just in case.

I'm probably too late. Anyone else have a town buying turnips for more than 95 Bells? I just want to break even
