Animal Crossing Issues...

If only I could get rid of my penguins - Gwen is bad enough, but she's a princess compared to Friga. Instead, my favorite koala moved and now I have heard my robot frog is moving.

By the way - I have Ruby the bunny now - she just moved in from Lynne (Carolinagal)'s town.

Bec - you need to come play out of town more. That way we can mail you things!!!

Two things -

1) Money trees aren't all they are cracked up to be (see discussion on page 5-6 or so of this thread). Most of us just didn't bother, since the return on investment is so poor. You are better off getting foreign fruit and replacing most of your trees. A more sound financial piece in these economics.

2) Snowmen are a complete gamble. We have found that if you save and come back, the snowballs are in different spots - that means you have a fighting chance (better than a snowball's chance in he**) to get them in the same reasonable area. Many of us also have no snow in between (from all our running which kills snow/grass that can be replaced by growing flowers - there's 3 pages of this thread in 1 sentence) so we can't even get a snow ball from one place to the other - so we gave up trying..... whew.... that was a run-on sentence....

If you can get them together - they have to be completely equal in size or else you have a grumpy, deformed, self-wallowing, shell of a snowman who has to remind you of the fact every time you talk to him until he melts out of your existence.

There.
You have about 7 pages of this thread in one post - whew-I'm good!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh yeah ....... sell your soul to Joan the turnip Goddess...... :scared1:

Seriously, though...
Welcome to AC and the thread!!!! We all play with each other and swap codes, so join the ride!

Oh - Buy WiiSpeak. Do it now. Run. Faster..... Good.;)

And buy the cow head.

Okay. I'm done...... really. no, really. Happy Monday!

Does your coffee come with napkins - you should use one now. There's still a little coffee that shot from your nose on the screen...

Okay. Really done.

Why do you have to get this?! I think I have one - I was gonna give it to Gav when I get his house sorted as I've collected the cabin set for him :lovestruc

And yes Nancy, I will have to meet up with you guys :thumbsup2
I need a free weekend where I can play late into the night - or you guys could get up REALLY early :rotfl: :lmao:

We met Pave today, but we didn't have a red candy for him so we didn't get a present ): But he was very flamboyant! and there was that big kind of fluttery confetti flying all over the town!

Doh! It's Festivale today!! I know I should have called in sick to work - haha. I will definitely be on tonight. My poor neighbors are probably ALL moving out since I haven't played in several days. Is the snow gone yet?! I noticed that the trees were a bit greener under the snow. I am SO ready for spring (both IN AC and OUT!).

I don't think the snow is gone, I just got on and off really fast since Pave was only going to be there in the morning. But there was Festivale music playing and the confetti was very festive! Come on over tonight, Greg will leave the door open (right Greg??):lmao:

Just to let you know, if you lose a snowball by pushing it in the river, for example, just walk into a building. When you come out of the building a new snowball will appear somewhere else in town. Saving also works but takes longer.

Figures Festivale would be on a Monday and end at 6:00 pm. I am so glad that I didn't buy turnips this week because it looks like time traveling will be happening.

Just some notes that I have discovered playing games for candy. Try to remember sequences with certain animals. If you play with one character, then another, and then come back to the first you will notice that they start to play the same games. There are only four by the way. When you figure out the sequences write it down. 500 bells is a lot of money to lose every time you lose a game. I also notice that when you play soccer, it is always right then left, right then left. Even if the animal scores and then you score, pick right again and then left. Eventually the ball will be blocked. If it isn't right then left for you then it will be left then right...always. When the game is ESP some animals will always think of the same shape and fruit. Unfortunately you will have to figure out which is which. The same goes for heads and tails and guess which hand the candy is in. This will take a while but once you figure it out, you will win every time.

My only problem is, is that Friday night I time traveled ahead. Then I time traveled on Sunday. But on Sunday the characters and the sequences had changed. Cha-ching...there went a lot of bells. :lmao:

Have fun everyone.

Except for hide and seek, we've never played games with our characters. So that's how you get candy. How do you get them to play games?? What aren't we doing???

thanks!!:confused3

Talk to your animal first, they will say something about Festivale and having fun. Then talk to them again (maybe twice), then the animal should say hey lets play a game. He/she will give the instructions and terms, and then you can accept or decline.

Oh I did forget to mention. If you don't want your candy taken (when you lose), put it in your house. I rather pay the 500 bells than lose the candy, since Pave' only takes candy. If you leave it on the ground, ants will get all over it. Swipe the ant covered candy with your net and the ants will disappear. But of course it is up to you.

Butch the dog moved out and was replaced by Kitt the kangaroo. Can't wait to teach her some new catch-phrases.
The only one I wish would move is my neighbor, Chester, the creepy clown-faced panda. Caught him standing in my flower garden staring at my house.:scared1:

Wasn't it your Olivia who had the model room in the city for a while? Now it's a room full of those droid-things. wierd.

Steeny has been collecting the droids and has amassed quite a few. I am trying to talk her into giving to coffee man.

So funny how our games are linked now! I have a new sheep in my town - I think from Juhltown?

Love this game!

If you are going to time travel, you might take a look at Pete's post from page 10 to gather a lot of candy. You will end up with a lot of weeds, but it is the fastest way to gather candy. Maybe you can use the Wisp charm?

If you are like me and too attached to your hybrids, I think you can "store" them in your house to avoid wilting. The rest of your flowers may go, so if you are interested in Perfect Town this may not be for you.

Also, any idea how I can get a lamp? I inadvertantly sold mine, and haven't seen one since! :rotfl:

Have Nook show you your catalog, maybe you have one in there. I owe Greg one, I was house sitting and I sold his lamp at the flea market. :lmao:

YES!! Olivia is from our town.:) It must have been moving day around AC. We lost Drake last week with time travel but we got Jermiah the frog!!!

You have a sheep from my town!? I love it! All of my animals are enamored by Lois. I think they want another visit from you, Lois :worship:

I have Jeremiah too ... I can't help but sing "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog ... he was a good friend of mine..." :rolleyes1

Yes dear:love: :worship:

Okay it is 5:30 pm, my time, and Pave' is driving me nuts. If I receive one more end table from him, I am going to throw it at him...:lmao:

A lot of my animals keep talking about how another town has a fountain and why don't we have a fountain. Plus some of the animals are telling tales of others in other towns, supposedly told to them by those animals. My animals keep asking about kirkjan and what a party peep she is. And that parrotthead lois is a big fishing fan. I didn't think my animals have ever talked to you guys. But they do tell me that your animals are talking about you to them. Gee I am afraid of what my animals will tell your animals about me. :rotfl:

I tried this once and I will never try it again. All the flowers were dead and gone. Weeds everywhere. Roaches in the house. Hair a mess. Even my animals were wondering were I have been. No if I time travel it is only for a few days ahead or back. Last time I went from January back to April and then ahead to January. Lesson learned.
