HELP!!!

My DS decided to time travel today. He knows now he should have listened to mom...but all the flowers in our town are gone and there were a ton of weeds. He has picked up all the weeds and I guess clovers or something because he found a four leaf clover, but now is just so bummed out. He also killed the cockroaches in his house and mine. We seem to have a bunch of dandelions. Should we get rid of them or are they okay?

Poor kid...he is so bummed out. He worked so hard planting all the flowers. He has been trying to get our town to look nice so he can have the people over whose town we have visited.

On a positive note, he did catch a crayfish, a butterfly and a dragon fly and was able to catch an ant on his rotten turnips. All of which he donated to the museum.

Is there a way to time travel and not have all that happen? Did we do something wrong?

Oh Lisa! I'm so sorry for him. That unforutnately is the price one pays to time travel. On the flip side, do you have snow all over again? Time travelling can help the grass grow back, if done correctly....

No... Sadly we do not have much snow left at all. What is the correct way to time travel? I kept telling him that I read on the boards that time travel can cause major damage. Even my turnips were spoiled.

Okay - I did it with one of the kid's characters and it wasn't the same - I think you need to use a character that has gyroids stored with Brewster.

It wasn't anything major - just a Valentine's Day surprise! He makes you a different beverage!

Gotcha! We sell off our gyroids (should we be keeping them?)

Right now we are rebuilding Wishes from our earlier disaster today. Now that Matt finally got it with the non native fruits....he decided to line our pathways with trees with fruit!!! Hopefully we can get some good cash this way!!

One more question...about giving to the town (we are still working towards getting our first new bridge) we have already given but have no idea how much. Does it keep track? I am not sure what the best way to give now is because didnt you say if you go over the 200,000 bells it does not carry over?? So I have decided now to keep bells in my bank but did not know how much I should give to see what happens. Does that make any sense??

This just happened to us today! Yesterday I donated a bunch of bells and knew we must have gotten to 200,000 - but nothing happened. Today when Greg went to donate - Pelly told us we could get a bridge and we had to vote where we wanted it - so apparently they do keep track!!

Yay, we're getting a bridge!!!

I store my gyroids with Brewster. Then every now and then I tell him I want to take them, this brings up a menu of the ones he has stored. If I do have 3 of one kind, take them from him and display them in my house (till I get tired of them), then I bring them back.

The vote on the bridge is finished - work has begun (don't know when we'll actually see the bridge). I'm sure Nancy knows. How long was it Nancy after you paid and the vote was taken.

I feel so bad for your Matt. Do you have an Olivia? Hers was the model room in our city! Nice going

I swear if I catch one more stupid Sea Bass I'm going to blow up the museum or something. I caught 20+ Sea Bass during the fishing competition yesterday and lost to one of my villagers that caught a tuna. I have yet to catch a tuna! On the good side, I have 600,000 worth of turnips sitting around waiting for a good price!

One of the villagers won! That just doesn't seem right. I won with the first sea bass I caught yesterday 47.(something) inches. Greg tried all day but couldn't beat that. I also caught a stringfish, but I wasn't handing that over! No trophy's worth 15,000 bells!! (Waiting for my trophy to arrive)
Gotta go out this afternoon No Animal Crossing for us and - tonight! - the long awaited Amazing Race!!

Lois - the bridge will show up on the eighth day after they told you it is happening. We always were told on Thursday and the following Friday it appears. (Make sure both you and Greg agree on the location. If you have additional characters, make them vote. - The animals are polled afterwards, so there is a minor chance it can be put in the other location.


Don - Ian found really good turnip prices on the thread today - 586 or so. You might want to investigate.....

Yesterday I did read about someone who lost the fishing tourney to their animal neighbour moe who caught a Colencanth. Now that is really unfair of the game. They were upset because they had yet to catch one.
