Help!

I read in the guide book that after you buy 7 cups of coffee at the coffee shop in the museum, you will be able to store gyroids there. We have bought the 7 cups, drank them while they are hot, went there with gyroids, and nothing.

Is there a trick to this I don't know?

Is it possible to write letters & send gifts to people that you have shared a frend code with? Do you have to visit each other's towns first? I can't figure this one out and I would love to be able to do it...HELP

You each have to have visited the other's town, then you can mail and send presents.

When you walk into the coffee shop, just stop at the side and wait (facing the barista), the barista will come over and say something like "that's a nice one you have" and offer to hold it for you. He'll take more than one if you have them in your pockets. Today I tried to give him a duplicate, he'll only hold one of each kind, so I'll either sell the duplicate or send someone a present

a quick ? - when I look at my friends list - some of them have a pink heart while some others don't . I'm not sure what this means - does it mean they haven't entered my info into their systems yet?

Yes - you are in my system - your heart is pink as is Nancy's, but you are the only two. All the others that have sent me info are not colored pink...

Hi all! Can I join in on this thread? My DS and I have just started playing this game so we are waaaaaay behind everyone. We just got our first shovels...he got it in the City yesterday because the cones were moved and I bought mine today at Nooks.

I paid my house off the other day and yesterday was asked to pick a new roof color and wanted to know if I wanted to expand (I said no since my DS said yes and it was $120,000.00 bells the next time he came back on! 0 and I signed on this moring and my house was larger and I owe Nook $120,000.00 bells!

As you have probably realized by now - Nook doesn't take no for an answer! Good thing he doesn't have deadlines!!!! I said no and now I have paid off 4 mortgages and have the house of my dreams!!

Are you on wireless and have Wii Speak? If not - get them right away! You'll love visiting other towns so much more when you can talk back instead of type. I had loads of fun with Lois, Don, and Greg - even though Lois was at the controls and he was just hanging out in the room last night. Party in our town tonight after 8pm EST - send friend codes if you want to come! I can only have 3 others in at once, but we can rotate.

We are on PST - I'll be in the house after 5pm PST/8pm EST. If you get me your codes before then, I can PM you back with ours when I get home at 4:30pm. If anyone wants to bring hostess gifts, I am accepting bags of flower seeds!!! Also, be prepared to plant a tree in my town. I'll provide shovels for folks that don't bring them. You can also bring your own native fruit to sell for higher prices (as long as it's not peaches - we got them).

We will also have all of the designs (except Pete's) available for the taking at our Able Sisters location. You can just come in and tell them you want it - then say it's okay to replace one of your current designs with it. Also, we will have bought everything we want to from our shops by then, so go ahead and feel free to shop at our Nookway and Able's.

Oh no - I'm going to Disney on Ice tonight - will the party still be going on around 11pm EST??? i'd love to finally get a chance to visit you... I've already purchased all the flower seeds & the tree from my Nook's today - but I'll dig up some flowers and bring them with me. I can plant them all together by the gatehouse and then you can move them around. anything in particular you need more of? Do you have any fruit other than peaches? I'd love to pick some if I may for my town - all I have are oranges. I'll bring my shovel - just tell me where & what to plant - "Will work for Flags & Fruit"

We'll probably be on until 3am Eastern. We have all of the fruit and a decent number of coconuts, so you can get some of each to get started. Be sure to plant them all under tree stumps so every one of the starter fruits grow, then branch out with the resulting crop.

Posting screenshots- If you put an SD card in the Wii, you can save photos to it. It works just like taking photos with a digital camera. Put the card into a reader on your computer, printer, or even digital camera if you have one that takes SD and plugs into the computer.

You can copy the screenshots from the card to your computer and upload them to the photo site of your choice (I use Flickr). Then while posting hit the Insert Image button and insert the link to the photo.
